Terms of Use

Draft prepared: July 2026

This is a working draft prepared for CMG’s review and has not yet been reviewed by legal counsel or published as final. Please have it reviewed by a lawyer before this page goes live.

Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Condominium Management Group (CMG) website located at condogroup.ca (the “Site”). By accessing or using the Site, submitting a form, or making a payment through the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use personal information submitted through the Site.

Use of This Site

You may use this Site to learn about CMG’s services, look up managed properties, submit inquiries, request proposals, and request status certificates, subject to these Terms.

  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information in any form you submit;
  • You may not use the Site for any unlawful purpose, or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the Site or interfere with any other party’s use of it;
  • You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site, other accounts, or computer systems connected to the Site;
  • You may not use automated means (bots, scrapers, or similar tools) to access the Site or bypass our bot-protection safeguards without our prior written consent.

Forms, Submissions & Accuracy of Information

Certain pages of the Site allow you to submit information, including our Contact, Request for Proposal, and Status Certificate Request forms. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit. Status certificates and other documents we issue are prepared based on the information available to CMG at the time of the request and are subject to the requirements of the Condominium Act, 1998 (Ontario).

Payments and Fees

Certain services requested through the Site, such as status certificates, require payment of a fee before we process your request. All statutory certificate fees and any rush fees are shown on the relevant form prior to checkout.

Payments are processed by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. We do not store your full payment card details. By submitting payment, you authorize Stripe to charge the payment method you provide for the amount shown.

Fees for status certificates are generally non-refundable once a certificate has been prepared or issued, except where required by law or at CMG’s discretion. If your payment was made in error or your request could not be fulfilled, contact us and we will review your request.

Intellectual Property

All content on this Site — including text, graphics, logos, images, and the design and layout of the Site — is owned by or licensed to CMG and is protected by Canadian and international copyright and trademark laws. You may view and print pages of this Site for your own personal, non-commercial use, but may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the Site without our prior written consent.

Third-Party Links and Services

This Site may contain links to third-party websites or use third-party services — including Stripe for payments and Resend for email delivery — that are not owned or controlled by CMG. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party site or service. Your use of those third-party services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

Disclaimers

This Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. CMG does not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any information on the Site is complete, accurate, or up to date.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CMG will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the Site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CMG, its directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Site, your submissions, or your violation of these Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page will be updated accordingly. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
